 I must say that the statement is quite bold and potentially
dangerous.  And in fact it might be somewhat careless.
But at this point I am absolutely certain that film shot at
accepted sync rates ( 24, 23.98, 29.97, 25  fps ) can be
matched to properly resolved, digitized audio when transferred
at similar rates ( 24 or 23.98 film at 24,23.98 or 25 fps telecine speed
or 25 fps film at any of the above speeds, in 525 or 625 environment)
with the Keylink.
  Instant sync is not intended to make proffesional competence
obsolete.  It just gives us a new tool to handle problems resulting from
carelessness and mis-information.  As colorists we can never say
