The published ANSI/SMPTE and ISO film specifications for B&H and N
perforations on 35mm MP color negative film are:
Dimension Aim Tolerance
(INCHES)
B - Pitch .1866 + / - .0004
C - Width .1100 + / - .0004
D - Length .0730 + / - .0004
E - Margin .0790 + / - .0020
G - Offset .001 MAX
Kodak film manufacturing process control typically holds these
dimensions well within the allowable tolerances.
Complete information on perforation dimensions and specifications
can be found in the following standards publications:
ANSI/SMPTE 93 ISO 491 for 35mm film
ANSI/SMPTE 109 ISO 69 for 16mm film
