I don't pretend to understand how the various TK's work. I got lost after
they stopped pointing projectors down TV cameras. I can't remember what
Cintel that was but it consisted of a Bauer P6 and a Philips LDK 5.

However, I can recognise better pictures, however they originate.

What I was trying to say was that CR and Spirit are streets ahead of other
machines when output to a 625 monitor, how do they get the pictures there?
frankly I don't give a damn.

I've argued the benefits of post-producing movies at 2K for a long time
now and been shot down as many times :-)
